Description

This was taken yesterday from the top of Fortuneswell on the Isle of Portland in Dorset. The Chesil beach runs from here to Charmouth many miles away and there is a lot of info that can be found on google. The sea to the left of the pic is the English Channel and the water to the right is Portland harbour (harbor) where the water Olympics will be held next month. The chesil is pebbles if you were wondering. Zoom gives more detail.

Jeff, great shot. I like the detail when you zoom in and I can't believe how close the houses look together from that vantage point.

A beautiful shot of this fantastic area. It looks cool and refreshing. I see you spelled harbor with an 'o' and an 'ou', to forestall any remarks by wise guys I take it.
