Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

What a gold mine of art! Whoever makes these things should be rich and famous, because these are stunning pieces. Thanks for sharing them with us!

WONDERFUL! thankyou for sharing these marvels!

ditto andrea and tara, I'm grateful you shared these! And as for this---gazonga! (That's the technical term.) It's not only a diva, but a big I don't know what, triple "8" figure---you tell me---just standing by her, maybe her dance partner. And you got a pile of 'sculpture stuff' at the bottom---I'm so glad you put that in (I'm serious) because it gives such a wild addition to the shot, like we can see either a) what the sculptor works with everyday, or b) what the diva has for lunch. (Low fat but high in minerals.) And you even included tires! Tires! Well, suuuuuure! A diva and a high double 8---with tires??? Why not! Terrific capture, this series is just wonderful! And it's so great that you included all this stuff.
