My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Congrats for LWITG Tara, well deserved.Your postwork has really brought up the detail. 'Manchester', that's only 40 miles from me...but Manchester Washington! I think you got the better deal on location :-) I have the same problem, telling someone I'm from Wallasey just gets a blank stare, telling them I'm from Liverpool starts an endless string of 'Scouser' jokes....can't win!

I like how one can obtain two different senses of space from this image, and flip between two different atmospheres-great work!

Okay, now that I'm done giggling (also giggling at Marilyn's "Fort Tuna" comment) I can now commence to typing! I have never been in a position in which I could enjoy having to explain to people where I'm from, though while living in the Czech Republic, I did have provide a quick geography lesson in order to show that Chicago and New York are not as close together as some Europeans think. Needless to say, I had fun reading the accompaniment to this image and I absolutely love the image itself! It's so deliciously bleak and wonderfully evocative of something ancient. Brilliant!
