A window near home. * * * Thanks for your responses to "Bird Pond": You gave me great perspective and feelings and I appreciate them greatly. Have a terrific day, Mark

Sensational looking photo Mark, and if you ask me you have a great eye for fashion as these outfits appear very lovely. It's easy to see why this display caught your eye as they have clearly went to a lot of trouble getting the lighting just right and the beautiful panel art behind the outfits really helps them to stand out.

I've dressed many a mannequin in my days as a display artist. These headless ladies look rather shiny and cold to me. I do like the dresses and shoes, but the display itself feels austere, or perhaps they are going for elegant. It is an interesting angle you selected, as if the mannequins are looking out at the window shopper. C

This is the essence of high fashion and I love it. AND, it's RED, which makes it perfect in my book. Super duper, sharp and full of sass and style!!

Great to see another experience from you:))) well, the mannequins are somehow "dramatic" lol,but I love the reds:)but in fact, Mark, they are a detail in the whole,to me...and what is fantastic, are the projections of the light that you captured through the window! and in the wall, i see the reflections of the lamps and of the window appearing like "ghosts"... and in the ceilling, the projectors reflecting the light, like if there were there, real candles. You captured the light here wonderfully. It was really a fabulous experience.

Normal woman shape, Andrea said?... hmmm I see a lady without legs but with shoes and another lady without Lower body!!! And none of them have a head. Is that normal?... Ok just Kidding LOL ! It is a mighty beautiful shot. Three ladies in red with great light and reflextions from the ceiling. Now I have seen it all. Fascion in your gallery :-D

I see a rake. You know, like a metal-tined springy grass rake. I can't get past it. My mind has been captured and is being held pending further ... something ... I don't know what. High fashion on Chicago's Magnificant Mile, and I see a grass rake. It's up at the top of the shot, holding court like a palm frond in an Egyptian tableau. Maybe I need to go take a nap. Did I remember to tell you I like the picture? I really do. Stark contrast with the white and red and bright lights, and a grass rake. This has everything going for it!

Oh my, how did you get this pic, so well lit, without a riot of reflections? Beautifullly sharp, colorful and composed, Mark! My window shots are plagued by outside forces reflecting in the glass. Red can be a bear to handle but you delivered it in fine style. I like the hint of light bulb generated haze in this one, also. BTW, the Lady in Red was mainly responsible for the demise of John Dillinger.

I see what Tara's on about too; I think it's some kind of holographic-sort of light display, or maybe it's a tractor beam to pull in unwary shoppers? At any rate, while fashion isn't your usual genre, something about this shot reminds me of your long luxurious paintings, so I can easily see what drew you in. Well captured, Mark!
