Description

YAY! I found my old filter and it still works. I had an old CD from the time when Methusalem lived and there it was. My good old Flood from Flaming pear. But I thank you who were trying to help me. I simply forgot the name of the filter. Have a wonderful weekend. :) We have a bit better weather today. But cool and changing clouds. As usual, Thank you for your always welcome viewing, commenting and fav to my previous post. :-)

Have not tried this. However, in some parts of the UK today you could get this shot for real! I love the way you presented this.

So beautiful, Dear Helle! I love this effect as though the flower is larger than life itself and has descended into the waters! The tiny bit that lies submerged is such a perfect effect for this presentation, making it so beautiful to look at and admire!

yes, the flood filter is a lot of fun, and you didn't go for 'effects' here but rather for an extension of the c's beautiful hues. The flower capture is itself bold and mysterious, with all those highlights and folded-over stamens, and the posts (I assume) to hold it up. It has a majesty from all that. The white lines in the upper petals are stunning, Helle. So it's a beautiful flower capture with or without the flood...but you used the flood sensitively (rather than as a big bang, as is so easy to do...I've used flood, and found it hard to resist making a big 'splash' with it, so to speak.) Fine on both the flower side as well as your filtering. Sensitively done on both accounts. (And I still loved the previous one, with its sense of a great king settling down into a private pool...apparently I was the only one, lol...)
