We have rain and rain but not much wind, so it is also peaceful.

oh yes, helle, from everything I've seen of your landscapes, this is classic, it really is. (And I can't believe how many of these you do from a moving car! I got moving car shots that look like someone threw paint at the window while we were driving!) I think your widescreen proportions are just right, it makes this so restful; and the light on the cows is beautiful...a bit of yellow, and the browns are near-red in this light...and it all just rolls along peacefully. DK must have so many beautiful vistas. And you know, to see this kind of vista in my area, you'd have to drive 2 hours from the city, at least, as the sprawl is simply too vast to allow you quick access. A beautiful, restful and classic vision. Today (and yesterday) I'm nursing a little stomach flu, sp this makes me feel like resting and basking in nature...

You do realize that my life will not be complete until I hear cows mooing in Danish. Or even dogs barking in Danish. I've heard dogs barking in Czech, which was nice! Okay...enough of that. I'm still waiting for my computer to get fixed (hopefully by tomorrow) but I peeked in here and simply had to comment on this photograph. I love the open feeling of this and the scene is quite nice. It reminds me a little bit of a painting and I think it's because of the colors mostly. The composition is really fantastic, and the cows are what makes it for me. This is quite nice. The cows look so relaxed...I also agree that this reminds me of something I would expect to see in Northern Holland, but that's not surprising. Denmark and Holland exist on the same planet, after all. It also strikes me how similar this looks to Illinois, once you leave Chicago. The land is flat and very good for cattle, but there are more cattle up north, for dairy, in Wisconsin. This could actually be there too. I think the breed of cattle is very similar.

Chip isn't kidding about Illinois being flat! It looks much like this, only the fields are bigger. This is so lovely and relaxing. I'm impressed with the quality you got, shooting from a mooooving car! :)
