Description

-------------- The Clones – Lorra’sessryn

The Ranger alerted. A noise out in the woods drew his ear, and then his eyes. He roused the others. They needed to be ready for battle, or whatever might appear. Their group was not large, five young adventurers out for glory, on a long trek across the Shallymyran forests to a rumored cavern in the Myramonte foothills. This was their eighth night in the wilderness. It would also be their last. What took them, what defeated them was no horde of Shadow Goblins or pack of blood crazed Gnolls. No, they fell to the powers and magics of a single creature, a woodland nymph like no other.

Lorra’sessryn had been Mother’s favorite, for it was only she who could titillate even Mother’s jaded tastes. She was also the leader of those that Mother would send into the surface world. It wasn’t because she was strong or big or stealthy. She was the first of Mother’s creations to walk in the daylight unimpeded, to revel in a sun-dappled splash in a mountain lake, to frolic naked in the woods and the fragrant fields of mountain flowers.

Mother had created her from the bark of a dryad, mixed with her own DNA, and grown in a flower pot on her window sill. But more than that, Mother had made a deal to make her what she was. She had traveled into the terrors of the Abyss, the twisted forests of Shendelavri, and bargained with the one called Narcissa. Mother had promised the Demon Princess a servant, a priestess to carry forth Her demonic will, from time to time. Narcissa had but to grant this child the powers of the Mystic, a combination of Erotic and Druidic magic would be her chosen route to power. The Demon Princess agreed. The price would be that the child would one day be wed to the Princess’ demon son. Mother agreed. That betrothal did not carry with it the usual restrictions, obviously.

Now, nearly a century later, Lorra had become the terror of travelers in the northern woodlands of Carellon and Shabrund. Terror would perhaps be a harsh word. For those who fell to her powers weren’t gutted and left staked to a dead oak tree, well not all of them. Most disappeared into a haze of sexual gratification inside some hidden forest stronghold until they died with quite large smiles on their faces. Those that resisted her charms had two of her sisters to deal with; namely Drejandra and Surut’zarreth.

Wooo, my first priestess! Errr... Narcissa's first priestess. Lorra'sessryn will be an interesting one to watch (at least for me). I like the dark, misty setting. Excellent image
