Description

Greeting and Happy Monday to one and All!... Well I was looking through my older works and found this particular image that I hadn't got around to finishing back when i first started creating it.It was one of those i had shelved until i got better with my lighting and atmosphere and when I was creating Film/TV art and paying homage to some of the classic movies I grew up watching. This one here is from the Movie that maybe some of you have scene at some point entitled "Vanishing Point"..If not then the summary should get you up to speed....(smiles).. "Movie Summary" Vanishing Point is a 1971 American action road movie directed by Richard C. Sarafian and starring Barry Newman, Cleavon Little, and Dean Jagger. The film is notable for its scenic film locations across the American Southwest and its social commentary on the post-Woodstock mood in the United States. The film is especially popular with Mopar auto enthusiasts because it prominently features a classic 1970 Dodge Challenger muscle car. Though they remade this movie in 1997 I still believe the original still stands on it's own merits.I certainly enjoy recreating these older movies when finding all the right props!...(smiles)... So without further ado.... I present a scene taken from said movie and recreated in Bryce for your viewing pleasure! Continued Thanks for your patronage and the time you spend viewing my latest art and for all your comments and fav's! ~Will~ Created in Bryce Pro 7 Post Work/Lighting in Photoshop Elements 8 Various props are from sharecg.net and archive3d.net respectively.. See you Wednesday with something new from something I haven't yet created...lol.. For those that may not be familiar with my tribute art to older movies here are a few links to other movie recreations I have done over time located in my Gallery... *Convoy* (Tribute to the Rubber Duck) http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2102596&user_id=218810&np&np http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2103054&user_id=218810&np&np *White Line Fever* (Tribute to Jan Michel Vincent) http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2106720&user_id=218810&np&np *Smokey and the Bandit* (Tribute to Jerry Read...A.K.A The Snowman) http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2103523&user_id=218810&np&np
