Description

Greetings and Welcome Once Again to One and All It's Friday and wouldn't you know it that it's time yet again for another new fractal from the Fractal Factory..So 1st let me say I have heard all your requests for those that suggested I try it on one of my customs to those that would of liked to see the original before I went and created something from it so me being an equal opportunity artist that loves hearing from my peeps I went and combined the 2 together into what is the 1st in a new series of Fractal Factory combinations called the "Transport Series"... After going into Bryce with it as a texture map/skin/wrap or what ever the tech term is and after many experiments and burned out brain cells later I finally learned how wrap this around what I was using which for my 1st attempt I decided to go with this VW Van for my debut presentation of this new way of using Fractals and well I'll let you folks judge for yourselves but quite frankly I think it turned out pretty darn cool and thought I'd share this for your viewing pleasure.... (smiles).. I chose to present this in a collage so you'd have various POV's and plus see the original design before I mapped it out onto the various models I had chosen to use. This really is something way new for me as I've just been learning recently how to texture these models as they all come differently and some parts are all in one and some come in many many pieces as this VW Van was in.It's exciting and fun to see the model come together as you twist and turn the design to match the others already in place and some turn out and some well do not as no matter how hard you twist and turn some are not able to be as manipulated as some others are and that sucks cause some of these models as you'll soon see in future installments that where able to be textured have turned out some really far out final results. But like I said I'll let you be the judge... Thanks for remaining fans of what i do and thanks for all the time you spend when visiting me.If I could put all of how you make me feel into a pill form I'd be over medicated and be needing a 5 step program and that's for damn sure....lol.. Once Again Many Thanks ~Will~ Created in both Bryce Pro 7 and Apophysis 7X VW Van from dmi-3d.net and as always...customized and modified by yours truly..(smiles). Post Work in Photoshop Elements 8 Have a Wonderful(if possible)Weekend and see you next week with more stuff from my imagination!

Wow what a gorgeous decal. Sure looks like something than Mick Jagger would have driven in his day! Really reminds me of what the old time rock and rollers used as they travelled from place to place. Sure nice to hear you had some fun pieceing this altogether. This is reall cool your hard work really paid off Will. Count me in as one your favorite "fans"!!!

Excellent texture work!!! i have used fractals for textures before and let me tell you ya get one part looking grate and you go to look at, say the back and the back is way way messed up get the back and the side good and the top is bad. so with some knowledge of what you've done here, it's just like I said at first. I use to use fractals as textures including a huge robot. I think the maker did not see the humor how ever they really work well on the van
