Description

Greetings To one and All! Monday once again in the land of art..Here is one from my rural and countryscapes folder I was working on and no....no one panic ...I'm not switching seasons just yet...lol...I created this because I'm really getting sick and tired of sweating my butt off here in Wisconsin and am wishing for anything other than Hazy/Hot/Humid being the topic of daily conversations at the water cooler...Oh wait...did I just say the word water?.. Violation!!!!....lol...you'll get it if you continue reading... I am beginning to wonder if it knows how to even rain here anymore..33 days and not one drop of liquid sunshine to be found...Nothing but bright blue skies and hot hot hot(Awesome weather if your a cactus btw)..Well finally our local weather stations gave in and are now using the word "drought" in our nightly reports which I could of told them by what used to be grass in my yard to all the dead or barely alive flowers that once used to be vibrantly beautiful are now no more than dead stalks which are being devoured by the only thing that's flourishing here and that's insects... Here's where you'll understand the violation part I mentioned before... I even got a flip'n citation the other day for watering my flowers(not grass)as some are doing and told them It was my left over bath water(tried to show them the proof but noooooooooooo!!!)that I was pumping onto my flowers and they said a ban is a ban...Stupid people annoy the hell out of me when you know that recycled water is what your suppose to do in situations such as this and they just can't seem to grasp the fact that I'm a conservative kinda guy..I told them I'll pay the citation as soon as the money tree that "was" growing in my back spring backs to life when and if ever it decides to rain here again....Sheeeeeesh!! So anyway...We could use the rain and none is in the forecast anytime soon so thought to share for those that I've mentioned to before wanted to stay abreast of the situation that's going on here in the land of dairy air..And speaking of dairy air...PEEEEEEEEEE UUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!! Without rain to help break it down and with the blazing sun and temps in the 90's and low 100's every day for weeks at a time one only needs to use there imagination here folks!...lol.. So without further ado I created this nice and comforting winter scene to help reduce my stress level and any and all that care to create such winter scenes you can personally dedicate them to me if you like...I'll take the ribbing as I'm tired of summer all ready..lol..(smiles).. ~Will~ See you Wednesday with something to celebrate the 4th of July and then back once again come Friday. Have a wonderful day and pleasant tomorrow! Created in Bryce Pro 7 Post Work in Photoshop Elements 8 Various freebies from arcive3d.net/sharecg.com

All we have been getting is rain here, no kidding...one day of temps in the 80 or 90 (which mind you, we are wimps here and cant handle that type of heat, add humidity and were sunk...lol) then back to a week of rain...lol BEAUTIFUL image though, I love winter time myself...fantastic job Will! :-)

The weather has been the same here and we've got several large forest fires to boot. I bet it does stink bad with all the heat. I can't believe you got cited for using recycled bath-water. Always to the letter, those public-servants!! I'm with ya there on wishing it would cool down - at least to fall temps, Will. This is a wonderful image and sort of brings back old calendars. Nice light and composition in this!

Beautiful Scene Will, and so you won't be alone in the no rain department, it hasn't rained here in parts of Michigan either namely where I live for tha past 3 weeks or so and everything outside and around us is bone dry or dead flowers, grass you name it, so I'll just join your lack of rain club. Try to have a good one. Stan

Will... so funny! I have to laugh... We had the drought~no~rain last year. We only mowed three times last year. This year it is every two weeks. I hope you get a peeeuuuuuuu break soon.... I remember the water restrictions in town... Luckily ... we are on a well... We don't drink it sadly.... but can use all we want. Pros and Cons there. I didn't water the yard. Just a few potted plants. We have to buy drinking and cooking water. I just cooled off with a nice watermelon....Ahhhhh Oh btw... a beautiful scene here! Just kinda threw me...

Seeing as how it is 97 degrees here and humid I will take this as a nice little trip into the walk in cooler and have a cold one while I am there or two.

The last major rain we had here was blasting winds, hail at breakneck speed & I was struck by lightning... again. Who says lightning never strikes twice in the same place. Lets change that to person, please. My roof was leaking everywhere & down the walls, through the lights sockets & making a general gooey drywall mess. I'm that cactus you speak of. I love the heat. But you can keep the humidity. I like it at 3%. Some of the most stunning storms are in the desert. Good thing they are few & far between. The high desert gets them better. The clouds sit on yer' house & shoot lightning sideways. Good thing I'm an adrenaline addict. I'll pray for rain for you. Did you do a good rain dance? Sometimes you have to make God laugh. ;p~ Super winter scene!

A most refreshing scene my friend... cool effects and soft lights. I can relate to your weather. We haven't had rain in about the same length of time on this side of the Lake either. Hot, no breeze and high humidity... and as for the water problems, just another way that even small government can screw with anything we try to do. Bad enough the skin is burning hot, they have to help get the brain boiling as well...!

Nice image to cool us down a bit Will, but now when we go outside it will feel like a blast-furnace. ;D LOL! I know some people in Wisconsin can be real Chesse-heads ;), but don't you got a "GREAT LAKE" to tap water off of when you need it? ;D Beautiful image and great work! :)

I don't particularly like all of the heat and no rain but the way I see it, Mother Nature is only making up for the lack of summer last year. As far as your scene goes, you need to stop with all of these grate renders. your making my work not looking so good, lol. Absolutely a favorite I love the snow covering on top of every thing and the trees (not sure how you accomplished that with the trees but it really makes the render complete.

This image is fantastic Will! I'm lucky that I like winter, since winter lasts about 9 months here. This short season of warm weather is such a small window, I love every second of it. We had way too much rain this june, if you want some please feel free to help yourself.

Be careful what you wish for...we are inundated with rain and wet weather in what is supposed to be our hot season, doesn't help our tourist trade which feeds our economy here! Nice render...like the colour palette you chose for this Winter scene....well composed too!
