Description
Captured 6/2/12, on an early overcast morning, within walking distance of my homestead habitat.
ZOOM for better definition.
It's been quite a spell since I posted an image of one of my favorite street objects, this beauty having leaked some cool oxidation, or whatever that everlasting stain represents, in turn making it abstractly like one of my shadow shots.
Cheerio, thankx for coming by, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

I love the clean composition of this and the colours.

I suspect this to be iron-oxide (rust). Also a popular watering hole for some canines.

You have an eye for unusual subject matter, Harry. I don't even notice things like this when out and about.

Well spotted and the rust does look like a shadow, maybe it has gone rusty with all the visiting dogs.

awesome perspective ... chills and thrills

Long-term leakage, I guess; it does make a great pattern, and very well seen and taken by you, Harry! I also like the compo here!

I would have had to take a double take if I saw this around here. Ours are short and fat and always painted a bright red...great POV Harry!

Cool shot and I like the idea of a rust colored shadow.
