My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Great shot but I want to know how you found them in such good condition.

Nice composition with those mushrooms and a difficult lighting.

I can't do more than one shot tonight, and it's hard to choose, but I chose this because it's an enchanted magical image, because your light on the edges of those mushrooms is otherworldly, because your light on the mushrooms, period, is delicate and heavenly, and because your handling of the shadows and rich greens is perfect as backdrop to the mushrooms. A luminous handling of the background. "Woodland Jewelry" is a perfect title. Beautiful piece, typical of your handling of light, and a piece of photographic magic.

Great capture Tara. We used to go and look for mushrooms when I was a kid. Every year somebody picked and ate the wrong ones and died. My grandma always fried the biggest one and us kids each got a slice!
