Greetings and Happy 4th to those that Celebrate!
Unfortunately what seems to be the going trend this year is that a lot of folks will not or can not because of this gripping heat wave that has encompassed the lower 48 and has been wreaking havoc from the West coast to the East and everywhere in between for the better part of this summer so far and with little or no relief in site unfortunately.
I'm sure for some things are better or worst depending how long and where your location is and I share your concerns and misery.As I'm typing this it's 103 in the shade with heat index of 109 with almost an astounding 71% dew point and 100% humidity...Bluck Bluck and Double Bluck!....lol..
So enough of that gloom and despair and lets move on shall we...
Here's one from my Silhouette folder I decided to share since i haven't done one in awhile and wanted to see how my new way of lighting worked on this first experimental trial image...
I was shooting for a "painting" type final effect..
I myself am my own worst critique at times and would like to know what "you" folks think....Personally I liked the final color blending I decided to go with here...but like I said that's just me...(smiles)..
Being that It's the 4th of July I decided to entitle this "Where Eagles Fly" as my Holiday Image choice for your viewing pleasure!

You have to be my friend philosopher ... if it's too hot today, it will be cooler one day ... As we say in mathematical mechanics, for a vehicle to reverse course, one must first it stops ... The problem is that one, how long the vehicle 'radiator' will it take to change direction, and more generally, how long the vehicle is put to stop? because if the time change is too fast, you'll spend too hot to not hot enough, or even too cold, and my poor friend then you will have the impression that you put a sweater in September ... excuse this paper the friend ... if you did some sweating... then you sweat less hot! This successful demonstration is then! I hope you have spend a goo 4th July !!! (big smiles)

hey there is not such thing as global warming... hmm well that's what they tried to say a few years ago!.. I think this is a perfect July 4th image the colors are perfection my fiend, and love the silhouetted Eagles!!! and I am very very jealous of you having those private fireworks.... my girl is many states away from me... but hopefully someday soon! I'm with you, Will - I really like the color blending here. The color opposites set up a wonderful color vibration, and each enhances the other - very well done, my friend! It's hot here in Missouri, too - although that didn't seem to stem the enthusiasm for fireworks here. Someone in the neighborhood started at around 7:30 (not even dark, yet), and continued until well after midnight. And it wasn't just firecrackers, either - it was the big stuff... Not commercial, but the bigger consumer stuff - mortars and so on. Not cheap by any means... I have to wonder what kind of income these folks have.. They probably burned up a couple thousand bucks worth of pyro last night. Oh, well... I got to watch and enjoy without spending a cent...

I Miss Not Being Allowed To Play With Fire Works, Banned In Australia For Many Years Now, Just Because A Few People Got Hurt, I Do Love Eagles Though, Wedge Tail Eagles Are Fantastic, So Big and Powerful, A Very Peaceful Render. ;~)
