Description
is there a CAT on my pillow in my castle?? Now that's what the B-dog wants to know. And where did it come from? He wasn't sure if he liked cats, they were such evil things, always trying to scratch his face if he got too close. He didn't understand at all why Murphy liked them. He guessed maybe he'd let this one stay, it was just a kitten after all, even though it was kind of large for a kitten. Oh dear, you don't suppose it's going to be really big big cat like a tiger or something when it grows up???
The background is from JaneEden's Mountain Views, not sure if it's in her store yet. The kitten is from her Cats package. Thank you Dear Jane, for these, they are such fun to work with and so beautifully painted!
The dog is, of course, the B-dog, from one of my photos.
Been a while since I've posted, wee little Murphy was a sick boy for a while, and when he got better we went out to the Hollow. We have a new routing to follow now with his treatments and meds, so it keeps us a bit busier then normal. But it's worth every bit of time and work because he's so much better now. We hope this keeps him well for a while longer, and in the meantime, we just relish each good day.
Many thanks for all the delightfully lovely comments on the previous post, and the faves. Cathcing up with you will be a slow process .. but we'll give it a go!

I thought you were telling us you added a cat to the family - lol Ya know, I have little min pins, so Bouncer I'm sure would puff out his chest at a cat and just keep barking - lol...My yellow lab golden retriever was great with the cat we had... I seriously don't think I'll have another cat - unless I'm old and a stray shows up and I give it food.... the last cat I had was a good cat but to it's self and you could just feel it was lonely and when you tried to hold it and pet it, it just didn't want it that long - it was like watching a loved one walking through life saying leave me alone - Tiger was his name and after I moved out, he was killed by two stray dogs in my X's house... I'm a Dog lover, Dogs always show their happiness when you come home - I don't need a cat - so the neighbors yell at me because I let him rome the block = lol

concern always arises when one of our animals are sick, our love keeps us from imagining that lerus lives are shorter than ours, at least except elephants and turtles ... Very beautiful composition you have done as a talisman to protect your dog! BEAUTIFUL ... And take care of you and your spouse Rita!

What a look on his face! I love it. The texture of this whole piece is wonderful. It reminds me of the old prints from the forties....you know the ones....the mountain lake with a deer on the shore, cabin in the woods by a lake, American Indian maiden on a still lake. Love the saturation and the softness. Her bkgd is gorgeous. Such a pretty dog, is B-dog.

B-dog looks so regal sitting on these cushions that it is no wonder he doesn't want to share with the little kitten who doesn't look to have a care in the world. A super image with this lovely background and you have blended everything so well. I'm very pleased that little Murphy is feeling a little better too. Excellent work.
