Description
The time of dusk and dawn .. just before the sun's leaving while there is yet a wee bit of light, and just before sun's arrival when first light begins to appear. These are the two timew when our Lady, who is known as the Red Wind can travel between our world, and the world of magic. She patrols both sides of the Hollow, the magical and the mundane, changing sides at twilight. The Silver Wind, her cat, stays on the Magic side, guarding while she travels on the Mundane side.
We think we've seen her .. just glimpses .. and only when she allows it.
The Red Wind comes from mjranum stock at Deviant Art, he has marvelous models, and photographs them wonderfully.
The background is from our own JaneEden's Mixe & Match package, the Night Framings, this one is Night Framing Tree Scene 04. I took some liberties with as I need a longer fence, so did some cutting and pasting and cloning to get what I wanted. The cat is from JaneEden's Cats. Sigh .. wish I could paint as beautifully as she does!
The background photo is cropped bit of one of my own photos.

Okay Rita, this is just about the coolest image and story ever! What an oustanding job you did on both as the detailing here is second to none and you did a marvelous job with those beautiful backgrounds that Sis created. Love this story of the Red Wind, and how she can travel between our world and the world of magic.

Oh wow, Rita! You did absolute magic with the light in this one. The sparkles are perfect, and the little flowers in the foreground add so much. This is a masterpiece of composition...so much made up from bits and pieces. Just wonderful....especially the light.
