Description
The elusive “Ops” color for the pilot episode velour tunics. I found the color sample in the background of the images showing the different departmental insignia designs at Memory Alpha under the page for Star Fleet uniforms (2250's – 2260's). Over the past 30 years I have seen this color referred to as: “mauve”, “tan” and “pink”. Only the costume designer William Ware Theiss knows for sure what the color was.

it's been a while since I've been over at sharecg.com = the last few times, I've looked for werts gallery and some wert things pop up, but he had a ton of face morphs - couldn't find them... do you know if he has his own gallery?.... I can tell you the color of the original tunic - it's called "Blah" lol... I wouldn't even call it a color - lol... I'm so glad Rodenberry went with COLORFUL uniforms - I think the series after the original sucked because they had "Blah" uniforms - lol
