Description

I'm not sure who came out on top. The building is minus a balcony, but the trees had to be cut down. We had quite the storm last week Friday, no tornado, just very strong winds. I've never seen quite so much ground come up with trees before, I think because it's been so dry that the earth is lighter and the roots just take it with rather than pull out if the ground was heavier and wetter. Electricity was down all through town, there were wires everywhere along the ground. We were lucky to be without power for only 18 hours. There were parts of town that took 2+ days to get it back, and I hear on the east coast even much more than that.

My word! With those shallow root systems, it's a wonder these hadn't come down before. That's an amazing shot, my friend. Superb!
