"So, what will it be?"
The weight of the moment was upon her, but she tended to instinctively learn toward staying. There were things about the world she really could do without - like all the crazies, the greedy people and the evil that men did to one another.
"Those are the very people we try to stop. Make no mistake, we are a network of world-wide proportions. We have our own influence and connections. If we don't, we make them and sometimes our companions make strange bedfellows. But we've been here longer than they have and we watched them grow. We know all their weaknesses and little secrets. There are many times when the sheep is actually the wolf...and that is *certainly* our problem," he smiled quickly.
Now he reminded her of Ramon...but not quite. "I think I want to stay. Not just because of Ramon...," she began.
The Peacock Angel held up a finger, as if he were not done. "You'll always have a family...and yes, it's sort of like *that* kind of family, but not really. Not at the root of it. We are one and yet we all work in our own time, and in our own way. We all answer to Martyn. He's the one with the imagination and brains to keep it all together. Even if I am higher in rank, I respect him and what he is capable of doing. Understand one thing before I ask this of you: there are some of us who are what Martyn euphemistically refers to as 'the Enforcers'. They call themselves 'The Weathermen'...because that's what they are. As you know, Ram is the Angel of Thunder. I'll let you figure out the others. They are the ones who do the dirty work, and Ram is part of them. Eventually, you will go to the US, and meet them when Ram is through here. I assure you, they will take good care of you and treat you well. You'll have Star and Lily - Nick's wife for company. Nick and Lily could use your...talents. Does that change anything for you?"
"Non, it does not. I am decided."
"Shall we return you then to be one of us?"
"Oui. It's what I want."
The Peacock Angel smiled then. "Good! Most excellent!!"

From left to right: Ezza (the Manic Mechanic), Nick, Ramon, and Rok - the Weathermen. These guys come from a novel I wrote (most of it) three years or so back called "The Prince". The current story is sort of an extension of that. Nick is 'the Prince' of the title. I've posted images of them here previously but those were P5 figures. Nick is also known as Ira or the Night Wolf.
So, Lisbet/Katherine has made her choice. Not sure if she knows what she's in for, but at least she knows a few of the 'players' already.

Other credits: All jeans and 'tricots' except Ramon's are from Smay's 'Bad Guy' set. Vests are from M4 Pirate but textured by me. The back 'colors' are the flying Ace of Spades with a skull. Sure you'll see it sometime. Background by me. Rok is currently wearing Lyn's skin texture. All other skins and morphs by me.

I find it rather funny & ironic that I can post an image of a naked woman that took me approx. 40 minutes to make (someone else's bkg (Ilona) & basic pose (A. Thwaits)) plus a bit of filter work and get nearly 300 hits. I post something that takes me hours to put together and I'm lucky if I get just over 50-60 hits. Hmmmmm. Life is so strange ;)

I know that feeling all too well, think we all do. It does suck to put so much effort into something only to find that so few take time to look... I've never figured out how it happens. But then I rarely give such things much thought, lol... hell, I rarely give anything much thought, might cause an overload. This is cool, and the shear number of characters in the scene would overwhelm me. Your work always rocks and this one must have taken forever to finish... great details and textures. Awesome work my friend. seth

I know what you mean... sometimes people seem to like the simpler pictures, especially if there's some nude girl in it. I guess the site is filled with teenage boys! Nice job on this group picture, though. I can see the work that went into it.

They do look a bit 'angelic', & not in the 'common thought of angels'. Real angels can be quite destructive. Seems she has made her choice. Does that mean we are to be treated to more of this great story...? Cool! ")

well I am sure very very happy this story continues!!!! and Ray my dear friend I have found every time i post a fantasy fairy lolol I get many hits and pages of comments.. and I usually never do fairies except for dedi's for friends I know like them... It appears in the Daz and Poser area's most is fantasy fairies and dragons and warriors... the rest standard types pinup... you do Fantasy but a differing way than the norm as you have your "own: not imitative style.. as i do Pinup's with vehicles.. again not the common here.. soo think of it.. the hits we do get are REAL! I love your renders they are all very thought out and perfect artistic quality as is this WAY great render...and your stories magnificent!!!! shit! I'm hooked on them! :o))

Love it! Heavy metal super heroes. Much more handsome than Deathlok, LOL! This could be quite the epic storytelling. Sort of Vampire Diaries meets the Bourne Saga. You mention a novel, and I'm wondering if you ever had it published? Excellent image. They are an imposing group and the lighting is a perfect mood setter. Great detail and render. I know what you mean about the naked lady hits. That will never change. I would bet most of the views are men on the nudes, seeming that we are stimulated visually very easy. I've discovered many viewers here and at Deviant, don't even make art, but collect nudes; digital and photos. That's just how it is.

I know, I used to get quite ticked off about that... but then I began posting in photography and the amount of views I get now are so low as to be laughable in comparison to any poser image. I kinda sorta cured myself of that by sacrificing myself on the alter of the lens. All's I can say is that clearly there are a lot of lurkers out there and you know what, their hits are hardly worth it. A comment from the likes of you, RodS, Arthur, Faemike, Steve, crunch, Seth .... you know the group... those comments are diamonds, the hits of lurkers are but raw carbon in comparison. Create what you love to make and then rest happy with the purity of your own being.
