Description
As always, the industrial mathematics market is screaming for heavy-duty mathematical objects that can withstand the severe conditions needed for rigorous proofs in industrial geometry and in this interior scene from the Swedish Polyhedron Metal Works you can see how they are pumping out 6 ton tetrahedral frames of solid iron at a pace of one every hour, 24/7. Since the tetrahedron is the most basic polyhedron with many applications in industrial mathematics it is always in demand but the company also have eager customers for all the regular polyhedra. Especially, the demand for dodecahedra is rising rapidly with the growing prosperity in India and China so prospects are looking good for this rather unknown, Swedish factory.
