Hubby, kids and I have called the Jersey Shore home for 36 years, but we'll be moving within the next year to the Gatlinburg, TN area. I've heard from others who did the same and then moved back because they so missed the ocean. Hubby and I are more 'pool' people than ocean and both grew up with farms and/or mountains so it should be an easier transition. Well, we hope, anyway. :)  I recently put my writing career on hold, discovered Poser, and with it, a love of creating digital art.  Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of several incredibly talented artists I didn't let my introduction to Poser overwhelm me (though I nearly did). The world of digital creativity is an awesome place and I'm so glad I found it. OMG!!!! the pool where I am is that size but tile and cement I think.. wow I did not even know they made liner pools under ground that big... ohhh I way feel for you and your family.. I do hope it gets fixed before summer is done for you guys!
WildDesigns
Arggh! We just found two small holes in our liner yesterday. Luckily I was able to patch them. But, holy cow, nothing like that! YIKES!

I see your neighbor walking straight and tall. From a rod of bamboo shoved... Bummer.
adrie
I also agree with Caroline dear Linda!
Kindredsoul
maybe you can get your neighbor to clean up his bamboo mess?? Well it depends on how kind they are...but wow you have a nice looking pool...all I have is a baby's pool in my backyard lol.
drifterlee
We have an above-ground pool that is a pain, too.
Alyah
Ohh Linda, you can always change into a skateboard ramp for the kids, lol. My goodnes all joke aside this is terrible. I hope it doesn't cost you too much to get this fixed. Bummer heh and exactly during the summer. Murphy's Law I guess, lol. I hope you're well.

What a nightmare!

Oh, man! That's a shame, Linda! That would be a major headache! Most munincipalities have codes covering such things as your neighbor's bamboo growing out of control and posing a nuisance for other residents. You might want to check your city's website. Hope you get it all sorted without too much expense! :-P
cricke49
that's not good, not good at all!:( i can see why you named this 'my current headache', wow, i too hope it doesn't cost you much and that it's fixed before summers close! as far as the neighbor thing i would surely look into city laws for care of trees hanging into other peoples yards! good luck!:)*5

I guess the first thing is to try to reason with the neighbor and work out a solution together, the second is checking bylaws, the third is trying to place a thin transparent net to stop the onslaught, the fourth is that fellow walking straight again.

Oh....Linda: A nightmare... I only can say:Take heart and try to avoid headaches. Hopefully in time a solid solution.... All the best. ,everyone!!. Frans
