Hubby, kids and I have called the Jersey Shore home for 36 years, but we'll be moving within the next year to the Gatlinburg, TN area. I've heard from others who did the same and then moved back because they so missed the ocean. Hubby and I are more 'pool' people than ocean and both grew up with farms and/or mountains so it should be an easier transition. Well, we hope, anyway. :)  I recently put my writing career on hold, discovered Poser, and with it, a love of creating digital art.  Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of several incredibly talented artists I didn't let my introduction to Poser overwhelm me (though I nearly did). The world of digital creativity is an awesome place and I'm so glad I found it. Thanks Linda for this more than splendid artwork of Odonata. I like it very much. Wonderful. Unfortunately I have no solution for the "pool-problem" . I understand it is very frustrating to fight against a-soacial people and against the authorities . You almost loose against them and it costs lots of money. Poor Linda and yours.. Try to see a sunny site of life.. I know that can be very difficult some times. All the best. Frans

Well, this lovely Fae looks like she can handle most any issue - covertly or otherwise! Beautiful work Linda! Sounds like your "Town Hall" is pretty typical of most government institutions - right on time with the tax bill, but when something like this comes up, they don't want to mess with it... They're too busy lining thier pockets... You know, if that bamboo is 30 ft tall...... AND there's no one living there..... Perhaps you could "help" the next lightning storm with a nice bit of metal rod (like a chunk of re-bar on a long (say about 30 ft.) pole..... with a nice sturdy piece of wire running down almost to the ground. Plant it in the middle of that bamboo patch some night, and await the next thunderstorm.... Hehe - the non-natural 'lightning' option did occur to me.... Yeah, I know..... I'm devious! LOL!

Nice fairy in steampunk Linda she looks fabulous.. If this was next door to my place it would be getting sprayed with poison and if no one is living there the stuff would be cut off at ground level, poisoned what is coming out of the ground and left in a heap in their yard. Or a match... ;-P

Beautiful work. I love the pose and choice of colors. Sorry to hear about your pool/neighbor issues. Maybe some neighbor will finally go "Rambo" and take it down overnight.
