Description
This a grown red fox. He was in a cage for
6 years. When I found out about him, I made it my mission to set him free. I took this on the
day I released him. He is in a protected area
and is seen often. He is home now.

Beautiful animal. Some of God's most beautiful creations. I hope after 6 years in captivity he does know how to hunt and fend for himself. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story. Bless you heart for what you did!

He is so handsome... how bitter sweet it must be to say good-bye, but I know you so "get-it" so much more than others!

What a precious face!! And a beauty of a fox. I am sure he is MUCH happier in the wild than in captivity. Hopefully he has the instincts to survive and prosper. Wishing the little oen the best!

SIX years in a cage? Ugh! How terrible! Yet, the intelligence and wiliness in those eyes, despite the 6 years. And, NOT to forget, ending with a loving rehabilitation! Foxes DON'T make good "pets" and are best left in their natural habitat to live their lives as they see fit. Even with a large yard they don't fit in. I'm glad you could help this fellow. And, what a beautiful photo! You are as great a photographer as you are at rehabilitating these fantastic creatures. Any more news about the springs 3 new eagles? Keep up the good work! :-)
