"The Black Heart who killed Faris was still there lurking in the shadows. He attacked Nick...stupid fool. Nick is the last one on the face of the Earth you want to tangle with, especially if you are a bad man. He will get right down in your face and show you what you are - judge you then and there. And then you are dead - if not from the fright of seeing the truth of your self, then by his hand. Nick knows this man is the second in command of the Black Hearts, so he knows that they suspect Faris was a mole. The man said as much but confirmed they didn't know who it was for. Before Nick put him out of the world's misery he tells him it was for him, but knowing that, he can't leave him alive. Nick found a tape recorder on the man, and some credit cards. Two of them belonged to the missing women. The tape had the torture session with Faris on it. We all heard it. This left us all with the question, why were the Black Hearts kidnapping older women? Surely not for their credit cards. They were both just making ends meet. "Nick left everything as it was and had to wait until the police came and took Faris to the morgue and did the autopsy. Faris only had a sister and she had disowned him. She wouldn't claim him or pay for any part of his burial. Nick made himself look like Faris's sister and went and claimed the body. He paid for the funeral and flowers. Chalk up another unnecessary death to the Black Hearts and more fuel to the fire. But one by one, Nick was thinning their ranks. There were two others missing at this point, as well." "He makes himself look like a woman and convinces the cornoner?" Lisbet was incredulous. "I told you - we are creatures of fire and light.
