Description

Ecola State Park is located just north of Cannon Beach. A truly beautiful winding road through a forest leads to the park & this is a view of the coastline once you get there. I hope this isn't seascape overload, as I still have a very few more I'd like to share... Please zoom

I love Ecola, and never tire of those views. The Oregon Coast in general has to be one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Post as many as you like! :)

Grand view looking south I believe! The big sky and how the clouds are patterned draws you down to the sea stacks.

ditto tara, though I don't know the area at all; but I love the work you do. Your postwork has a gentle "atomizing" effect, but it doesn't interfere with the unity of the image. Rather, it gives it a glow, bringing out the vivid hues throughout. And your composition/pov has a gentle sweep from the opening on the bottom-right to the curve in the top left, so the image opens up for us as we move 'down' it...For a gentle image, it feels monumental, as I assume this shoreline is. And the layers of sand and waves make a very peaceful impression. Serene but vivid at the same time...

This has the feel of a great painting, with the saturated colours ... Amazing POV from where you are standing - simply sumptuous, BB
