WoW! Well we knew you were up to something but I never expected a Mistel! As a kid I made a very crude model of this out of Ju88 and BF109 kits with some putty upfront as the warhead :) Great to see "The Plant" back in action Neil. This one looks easy prey!

Hmmmm! Heard of this one, but don't know much about it. Nice render; and glad to hear that you are back in the shop a bit more.

Looks great! You do not need a historical event to show off your great plane models.

Better keep clear when that lot blows! Is it one or two kills though... mmm?

"Two fer one". Nice one! Glad to see the economic slowdown hasn't put a crimp in the plants out put.

The mistel was a ju88 that cockpit section was removed and up to four tons of high explosives was put in its place they were mainly used on the eastern front against bridges during operation Iron hammer and at the battle for seelow heights they capable of punching through 60ft renforced concrete The fighter was either a bf 109 or a fw 190 the 109 used the same fuel as the ju88 so it used the fuel out of the bomber's tanks. ground crews had to sweep the runway with a bloom to make sure nothing blown out a tire .
