You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

This really is SO cute, BB-chen. What would he have been ordered for dinner, I'm asking myself LOL! A superb result by your post work, with a lovely green on it.

I like the effect on this shot. Well done.

I like this effect too and it is a great style. It gets the old memory buds revived. It is a super capture of this lone diner, he obviously knows where to get a feed, though it probably isn't a good idea to loiter here. Excellent work.

Seems angry at the service because the waiter did not serve. Still do not know the difference between a restaurant and fast food sales. Lovely shot and PW.

A cannibal among birds? ... What an irony LOL

I love it and it's a fun and great finish:

If the gull would know that the restaurant's specialty is poultry ... But with French fries they would not say no ... Very nicely done with the filter ...

he's probably responding to an ad on one of those internet dating services..... seeking a new gull-friend (soooo sorry...heh)... little does he know that it's a trap a lure to capture him and deepfry him in 11 different herbs and spices.... cheaper than buying chicken! and this filter is serious cool, the greenish tint give this pic a nice, old-world flourescent feel to it....

Ok, I'm back in the archives again because I want to catch up on so many images, so don't be alarmed that I'm back with the cobwebs and candy wrappers and overdue electric bills sitting on the floors...(whenever I go back into old uploads, I always expect count dracula to come out of the cobwebs and say, "vattt are yuuuuuuu dooooing here???" A surprise confrontation with Nosferatu while looking at one of your pics...) A wonderful capture to begin with, not easy to find a shot like this. I like that the bird's looking to the side, as if to say, "did I forget to take the clothes out of the dryer???" Besides the grain, you also have this greenish tint, which makes it seem like a late night neon scene, almost out of a detective film. A really creative treatment of an already wonderful shot. And the light in the back of the shot---though normal for restaurants---makes it look like there's something sinister happening back there...
