after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve

Well, I think keeping with The Doors theme is perfect. Let's have our kicks before the whole shit house goes up in flames! Alright? Alright! :) Stunning image! This is fantastic. Best of luck, my friend. The best blessings always come in disguise, imo.

steve, so sorry to hear about your job situation, but i think you are doing the right thing...nothing worse than doing a job that you don't like (i know, i hate my job, but at my age, i have to stick it out--retire next year anyway). looking for a job while collecting unemployment makes good sense. much luck finding something to your liking...also, do think that things are looking up in the job market, at least here in nyc, things are beginning to really percolate :) love your image...her expression is most "interesting" :)

you said a while back Friday the 13th was your last day... I use to keep track of weird crap that happened to me on Friday the 13th, but I stopped doing that last century and now I don't remember one thing that happened, the odd thing was, I had some pretty good luck on that day. Nothing personal happened to me yesterday, but on thursday I was talking to a friend about Stallone and then on Friday I read his 36 year old son died... Early report that was later changed on the net said there was no evidence of foul play and it looked like Sage Stallone ODed on meds.... I'm a big Rocky fan, so I knew it was Rocky's kid Robert in Rocky 5... Sage didn't play the part in the Rocky Balboa movie.... personally for me, every time I thought about it I could hear Rocky cry'n when Mickey died - very haunting. ...I figured you'd walk away from the offer, you know the situation better than anyone... Ya know, there is a lot of fire distuction up there, maybe you might find some clean up work? good luck bro.
