This is for a cover for a book I'm writing called Moniyaw (Cree for "white man"). It's about a hotshot young urban architect who gets assigned to several months of work on a remote reserve. I uploaded a postworked version of an earlier copy of this scene on June 9. I continue to tweak; here's the latest render. (Zero postwork in this version.) Not thrilled with the skin tone of the native man in the back, but final postwork for the cover will likely render the point moot. Lighting is provided by one spot and one large emitter object, with 8 passes of IDL. More details about the image can be found by looking at the June 9 image.
