They are dancing and swimming Within this swirling Delphinium Sea So joyful and so free With a light heart Playful spirit And a bit of curosity How many dolphins Can you see? Delphinium Sea prose by Carol Cavalaris © Credits: Another in my Language Of Flowers collection, Inspired by the Greek name for the Delphinium, which is Delphis, meaning Dolphin, because of the curved shape of the petals, I created a delphinium swimming with dolphins in a sea of foam and bubbles. There are a ton of them, some a challenge to see at this lower resolution. Created in Photoshop CS, using painting techniques, delphinium photo from a friend's garden, modified dolphins by jaguarwoman, Splash brushes by Ron. I think that they are becoming dolphins. Lavenderlicious, they seem to be immersed in the stars. Beautiful!!

Wow Carol, this one is fabulous and the dolphins are a marvellous addition. I can see more than a dozen floating around this delphinium and peeking through the petals. A wonderful idea and so beautifully done. It really is an outstanding masterpiece. I love it.

Now that's a lot of Dolphins Carol, 22 big ones so far, but I'm sure there are more swimming in there, better go back and check again ! Never realised they we so intertwined with the flower, neat background info and great looking art ! ~Cheers~
