Description
The street vendor is Tumi for CJ-Studio's Bella figure (she is in my free stuff, along with her dress, shoes and the chicken meal as well). The ground and wall textures were made with Genetica, also the textures on the crates and the cardboard. The "walkie-talkie" chicken meal consists of chicken heads and feet, served with stiff maize porridge and gravy. Street vendors like this one abound in Johannesburg and if you have a strong stomach you can pick up a cheap meal there. I just love Bella because she has the perfect body for an African woman. I'll have to make more textures for her. It is common to address adult women as "mama" even if they are not related to you. A younger man is often addressed as "bhuti" or brother.

Nothing like a little food coming from a warm heart when times are rough. Given all the roadblocks this poor fellow is encountering, one could hardly fault him for feeling a bit hopeless. This story is a real eyeopener about the obstacles to moving forward people in this part of the world face.

i always had a strong stomach like a "garbage can"lol.i guess i was lucky. where i grew up we had not the opportunity of beeing "Choosy"you ate what was on the table. it still does me pain when i have to throw away a piece of bread.(we are only 2 people and often there is left overs). on the other hand i am glad i had to go through rough situations in my life, meaning if need be i can live with less and still be ok.

You're doing great work, Nanette! Your use of Blender and Poser together is well done.

This series is a scathing indictment on our current society, and GOOD on you for doing it. It's so well done and really does evoke some visceral feelings in the reader/viewer. Great social commentary and great work on the graphics and story.
