My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Hey, I know this guy! What a grand shot of something I've scarcely photographed! I love the light and the overall sense of nice, fun color in this shot! It's an echo of really good days too! For as long as I've seen this (Columbia College, my alma mater, isn't too far from this guy) I never really knew that much about it, but that just goes to show, when something's nearly everyday, it's not spectacular. I love the way this looks through your eyes though. Seeing a familiar thing or place through someone else's eyes is always refreshing, and this is marvelous, great, fantastic photographic work. I like every bit of it.

Shining sun and soft shadows. You are a photo magician, Tara. Loving the perspective lines. Well done

Very well timed shot Tara.

Fantastic composition. Aside from the Art Deco appeal of the stature itself, I especially like the way the Bowman is framed by the building behind it & that irregular patch of sky. I'm sure there were lots of potential POV's you could have shot this from, but you hit the jackpot with this one...

This looks very much like the mountain sculpture being created of Crazy Horse in the Black Hills Tara. Super shot.

Nicely captured Tara. What does it mean when the horse has one leg up? Does it have the same meaning as military leaders on horses?
NanetteTredoux
These are wonderful sculptures, thank you for capturing them both so brilliantly and allowing us to share them

A gorgeous shot of this powerful sculpture, Tara! I can't get over how full of light this scene is, even though it was taken in a canyon of buildings!

Great sculpture and nicely shot, I see the bow and arrow are missing just like the statue of Robin Hood in Nottingham UK.
