My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Super POV.

Aha! so we do get to see the bowman, every bit as brilliant as the bowman Tara, really nice work.

Excellent work and I can see East West University in the background, with its swanky, new facade (the angled glass). This is a brilliant shot of a city that I'm very familiar with, and yet, this looks like a different city all together. This is really elegant, super work! I love seeing Chicago though non-Chicago eyes.

Superb sculpters, both of them and well captures Tara.

The figure is such a contrast with the architecture which makes for a terrific composition. You have positioned him so very expertly, Tara!

Hi Tara. Beautiful light control, expecially in shaded subjects. Great POV. Brava

Awesome capture!!

A wonderful companion shot to the Bowman! Love the angle here, Tara, and of course, the juxtaposition of the mounted warrior with the modern buildings in the background.

Marvelous juxtaposition of organic sculpture and ultramodern architecture. Great sculpture, great shot...

Power of the body of the horse and man is insanely beautiful. Modern buildings? they do not live, and all look the same and look death. Glass, glass and another glass. Give me a building that life, full of warmth and coziness is, building. Nice capture.

Beautiful! And again the building background is brilliant!

A fine shot! Lovely sculpture Tara! I like.... Question though.... As its the 'Spearman' and it seems at one time to have held a spear in his left hand as you look at the picture, where is it? Odd huh? Rob

Tara, I like the composition a lot - the three different sets of geometric patterns on the buildings in the background look great. But the statue doesn't look quite focused to me - was that a conscious choice to focus on the background? I would have gone the other way. BTW, have you ever heard of the Lytro camera? It captures what it calls "light fields", which allows you to change the focus AFTER you've taken the photo, so with a Lytro photo, you could experiment with different areas of focus after the fact...

I like the angle Tara.

Just a hint of the spear is all we need. Nicely done...
