Description
Went hiking Sunday with Sharky and another friend. Lucky it was a beautiful day. The lake was at a pretty low level today. As you can see, it does get much fuller. At times the wind did kick up and it was quite cold. Yes, it does get cold in Hawaii. We were above the 13,000 ft level. Thanks for stopping by. Aloha

This was the lowest level that I've seen the lake and yet it rained a lot but at lower elevation. I love that feeling of being up there in higher elevation... And congratulation....you got bragging rights now for being up there. Nice shot of a special lake. Aloha

Very cool shot of this interesting lake. looking at the topography. I can see that this lake is quite shallow, perhaps shallower than it should be. Thanks for sharing

Yes, way up there. It was an awesome experience to finally hike up there. I have been to the top by truck, but never hiking. You feel so free. Also, the rover was up there a few days before. Practicing for it's next mission to outerspace. Aloha and thanks for the comments.

Dang not much more than a small mud hole now...I guess not much rain or snow this year to fill it....main thing is you made it to the top....congrats~
