Vue8Frontier/DazStudio/Photoscape3.5/Photoshop After using these alien plants in a couple of earlier Bryce renders,I feel that I have finally done them justice in Vue.The large Sunwatchers and the Oddstalks are from Daz3D's Alien Botanicals pack.and were imported from DazStudio(I added two Vue bump procedurals to the original texture of the Sunwatchers since the bump map didn't import with the model...I like these better anyway!).The other alien plant is the Pikaka from Cornucopia3D.Two procedural terrains create the setting...one for the swamp water(Vue's preset Polluted Water),the other the mud( preset mud material that I changed the colour production on and added a Smashed Peas bump and displacement procedural to).Atmo is the preset Stuffy,with Global Ambiance,soft shadows setting of 1.00 degrees and medium dark shadows added.Render took 35 hours at Final setting and 125 ppi.Postwork in Photoscape involved a light bloom effect and slight darkening of image...signature and resizing,along with some cloning of annoying artifacts done in Photoshop.Thanks for viewing and any comments!
