Description

The idea for this came from a little talk on Facebook about the common names of different mushrooms/funghi. In Danish they are often boring and matter-of-fact descriptive, where as the English names are more imaginative with connotations of fairytales and fantasy. A good example is the species "Amanita virosa", in English called "Destroying Angel". Very appropriate, since it is deadly poisonous for humans :) The Destroying Angel here is not a wild and flamboyant character, but a humble beauty, just like the mushroom. And equally deadly if she wants to be. Toolbox: Vue, Poser & Photoshop. Items from DAZ and myself. Mushrooms modeled by me. It's funny, but this is just about exactly the image I expected when I saw the title. The only thing different is the tree I expected them to be near. I think the character fits the mushrooms very well.

Wow, an incredible job on many levels. Firstly I love the clean white colors and how they contrast with the vibrant greens. The lady fits perfectly with her fungal companions. Secondly, you did an amazing job of modeling. Those mushrooms are perfect - you should put them onto the market. This is a gorgeous work all around.
