Description

Taken at the CWH 40th anniversary airshow back in mid-June. This is the Vintage Wings of Canada's Spitfire Mk.XVI, done in the markings of 421 Sqn, RCAF. While this particular plane was too late to see action in WWII, it served for a time as the personal aircraft of Air Chief Marshall Sir James M. Robb. Lots more info on the Vintage Wings of Canada website. Thanks for looking!

my first gas-powered model airplane was a Spitfire :) those and P-51's are my favorite fighters. Nice shot!
