Description

This is my original render of this Lady Breeanna piece and was my 3rd (I think) full render ever. Once I got Reality for DAZ, took a crack at redoing this piece and you will also see her here in what I think is a much improved and final version (At least as much for now until I get a burr up my hiney to work on the lighting some more - if that day ever does come). I am an avid online MMORPG gamer and the vast majority of my works are inspired by and of my characters from those games as created by and I see them in my imagination and have "grown" if you will over the years. It is no coincidence that this girl shares the same name as my artist name, for I am Bree. When I first started gaming I had no clue what role-playing was and what to name her so there she was. Every game that I have played over the years or play now, there is always a Lady Bree in some form or other; sometimes with the name in elvish, sometimes not. Sometimes she is human like here, and other times she is not. Lady Breeanna is a Paladin (not always armored appropriately LOL) but is very honorable and fierce in battle. I was looking through some of RPD's textures that I purchased a few months ago and got some inspiration for a new Lady Bree piece that I will be working on (might take a while) so I am sure that this is not the last of this girl that you will see. Feel free to check back and if you are the kind that likes story-lines... you might just get little glimpses of each of my characters backgrounds each time they make another appearance. =) Thank you so much for looking and though both of these are completed, feel free to leave constructive criticism, I am still learning and would love any input anyone cares to leave. =) (Items not credited within Renderosity's system were as follows: * DMR Briana: from DAZ created by: Danie, morforno, & LadyRhi * Kirke Hair: by plus3d & mairy @ Renderosity * Angeluz Fantasy Armor: DAZ 3D (Val3DArt, Lesthat) * Pose: DMR Briana’s Temple (with some tweaks to hold the sword-sword was manually posed) from DAZ, created by Danie, morforno & LadyRhi * Face Jewels: Accessory item (I cannot recall the item name) of the V3 Morphing Face Mask @ DAZ)

First off let me say a hearty "welcome to the galleries"! Role playing fans are all around here so you're in good company, me thinks. Very nice job on your namesake, quite lovely and she certainly appears regal and competent. Her armor's almost practical, too, don't see that too often, lol. Personally I would've liked to have seen a little larger pic for the extra detail they afford but all-in-all this looks pretty good. The lighting's a little 'flat' for me but you'll soon learn what works as you progress. I wish you "Happy Rendering"... :D

Thank you both. I agree completely on the lighting and it is such a slow work in progress. I have a few tutorials for Poser waves to Sveva but working in DAZ makes things interesting. I am also finding that most of my light sets have been a major MAJOR waste of money (probably cause I have no flipping clue what I am doing yet LOL!) Thank you so much for the feedback, I will take it and put it to work. =)

This is very nice - the composition is well balanced and the warm lighting gives a lovely effect!
