Around the community as well as all of the other big ones, I am known as LadyBree. My artist name is Lady Bree Art and I am well, Bree. =D Â I have never had any official artistic history or schooling other than what classes were required during school grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. Â In my 8th grade year, I did fairly well and even submitted into our high school's art fair & contest a very large drawing and colored in piece that we took from a small picture from a magazine that could be up to the size of an 8x10 and "blew it up" to a very huge piece on a large sketch paper that was larger than a large size poster board; I came in 2nd place with that piece out of the entire school. Â Sadly my time as an artist were cut short because after that home life was fairly unstable and I was moved from school to school. Â I am a very creative person though. I have a deep appreciation for all things art and have encouraged my children to follow their own paths as artists and my oldest is a graphic designer in the works herself and my son who is still a minor has been a comic artist since he was a very young boy and continues his work as one. My youngest daughter had been following her dream to be a fashion designer and hand drew sketches of her designs and I tried to get her into this to turn her ideas into some form of reality and to build a solid, digital portfolio but she has since decided she wants to take another career path entirely lol. Â
So, what brought a non-artist to DAZ/Poser? I am an avid gamer; have been all of my lilfe (I have been around since Pong days) and I went searching for some elvish stuff to throw together in Gimp to make matching forum signatures for myself and my husband. But, I am so picky, it couldnt be just anything and when looking through Google for images of Elves, I stumbled onto Adiene's forest elves piece that has Macha in it and fell in LOVE with that piece. I showed it to my husband and we were both talking about how that was along the lines of how we wanted things portrayed. Well, we have respect for artists' work so I didnt want to just snag it and go so I went digging for where it came from, that led me to her site, which led me to looking through EVERY SINGLE last piece of art she had ever made up until that time, which led me to looking at promo art. Well, back then I didnt know it was promo art. I saw Victoria 4.2 and ran a google and the rest is History as they say. Â So, Adiene is the reason I am here. Â Now, I still have never made that signature art piece that I set out to make that day I went looking and in fact, that day I stumbled onto DAZ was the day that my gaming changed so drastically that it has not been the same every since. I all but completely gave it up because I have gotten into creating my gaming characters in my art so much that I dont want to play them anymore, I want to MAKE them LOL. Â I love being able to express my imagination in a way that I have until that day, been completely unable to simply because I lacked the means to do so and lacked the skill.
I have so many other ideas and interests that I want to work on and I know that I can do it but my ability to learn (due to medical reasons - memory loss issue) it becomes very frustrating. Â ANother thing that frustrates me is opening up my Photoshop CS6 and knowing absolutely NIL... so, I try to do everything that I can within D|S to my pieces to avoid postwork for the time. Â I have gotten some tutorials though so maybe learning a few techniques will help just a tad.
So, what inspires me? Obviously my games do. Over the years I have played games that have limited choices on how you can have your character look and I always see them as being... more. So this allows me to bring them to life as I see them in my mind  Gaming is not all that inspires me though.  Music inspires me.  I have not done any pieces yet but I have a few ideas of work I want to do because of a couple of songs. Skill in my tools is all that is stopping me right now. I want those pieces to be better than I know I can do right now so one day I will get to them.  My kids inspire me, sometimes my mood inspires me too, and I cannot forget that my husband inspires me - he inspires me a lot.
I also have a tendency to get blocks and when that happens I put my own advice that I gave my oldest daughter to work.  I open up my D|S, I load something up and I just start adding stuff and whatever happens happens.  Usually something totally horribly silly and ridiculous comes out but us here at home get a terrible good laugh out of it.  One piece that I did was so funny that both me and my youngest daughter laughed so hard while I was doing it and running various renders that we both ended up having asthma attacks and still to this day if I open that, we both crack up laughing.  Will I ever share this piece?  No =Þ  The silly pieces always come out with bad lighting and horrible composition if that is what it is called and horrible perspective, not to mention most people would look at them and think I was a lunatic hahaha.
I am a very friendly person and while I am quiet and am not active on forums here or elsewhere, I am very socialable, want to make friends and will talk your ears off if you give me the chance. Â I have spaz-tic tendencies but I have mellowed a little as I have aged.
I think that is about all I can think of for now. Â I do not have much in my gallery but I am working on changing that. Â Please feel free to check them out and add me if you you like. =)

Really well done, the armour came up sweet!
LadyBree
Thank you so much, Razor. I absolutely LOVE "shinies". I fell in love with how the armor just popped compared to the original and all of the reflections just happened on their own so that is all completely kudos to the artist(s) who made the set. =)

Very enjoyable in fact. This is a vast improvement over the first version you posted. The armor's bright highlights really make the textures pop. I was wondering whether you were using Daz or Poser as you're putting your images into the "Beginner's" galleries. I think it's time to give up that little moniker, this is very nice.

I am using DAZ4 Pro as of now. The one of Destiny and her trusty dragon, Delbaeth was done in DAZ4 and rendered in Reality as well. I was not very happy with the level of details on that one but I was on a time limit with that one and I hate to have to say I took what I got and ran with it off the press so to speak. If I had my druthers I would have scrolled my view in a little closer a click or two and re-soaked that for another 3 hours (sorry for my odd language, it will take me some time to learn the proper terms around here LOL).

Thank you so much everyone for the kind words about my piece and the ratings. It means so much to me to receive all of your compliments with this one being so close to my heart as it is. For anyone interested, the armor used is Angeluz by Val3Dart & Lestat over at DAZ and I did not tweak any of the shaders, this is straight out of the box (I love this armor). I did not list the DAZ items under this piece since I listed it with the original and I was so tired by the time I posted this up. My apologies. =)

Exceptional render! Great work. I'm learning with Poser 6 and Poser 2012. This gives me encouragement. I haven't worked with DAZ 4Pro yet. datadraw1 Kevin.

Hi datadraw1, thank you so much for looking and leaving a comment. It means more than I can begin to say to have someone tell me that a piece of mine gives them encouragement; I am glad to hear that it does and thank you. =)
