"Fly The Flag"...
Anyone living in the UK in the 1970's will probably remember that advert for British Airways.
If not look it up on YTube, it's wonderfully corny and inspired me to do this image.
Concorde Model was a blank freebie so I had to texture it. If anyone knows of a higher quality model with landing gear and nose down let me know.

I met the pilot before that was among the few pilots that flew the first Concord for Braniff London/USA. he had designed and flew a competition biplane winning many events. I have a picture of his plane some where outstanding render

Fantastic image. I saw both, the BOAC and Air France Concords, land and take off at Kennedy in May 1978. They were loud. I also saw them fly over in London. They were beautiful!

Superb! I remember when the Concord came to Colorado Springs. Cars were lined up and down the road leading to the airport. I wish I had gotten pictures.

Why do you need higher quality models when you create such great images with that 'low quality' one !!! ;oD Joke aside, at first look, this image could really be a photo. The sky is just great, realistic and not disturbing. Really a great job, my friend !

As I drove on a motorway approaching Heathrow airport one morning not too long after the concord crash, I saw several airliners take of and drag themselves up into the air, so slow they looked like they might fall out of the sky. Imagine my surprise when I saw concorde zip past them all and disappear into the distance like missile....... Very nice render. Well done.

Mike! This, an aircraft that created SO much jealousy across the Atlantic they tried to use every excuse under the sun to ban it from airports, but still everyone wanted to fly on it.. Everyone! I saw these fly down the Bristol Channel while holidaying in North Devon, you'd know it was Concorde, they would just kick into a supersonic about then! I once saw one near Yovelton.. lol (I may have spell that wrong! lol) Finally, after that awful crash, again caused by another aircraft as it happens dropping chunks of its engine on the runway and Paris NOT clearing up! B.A started to make money on them again.. Then the Government topped them! Good move huh? So now, people have a 7-9 hour haul across the Atlantic instead of well less than 4! Less than 3 on really good day! Fact : Only the Lightning could overhaul the Concorde on a straight dash... And the Concorde by the way, was loaded! Great work.. Rob P.S. FLY THE FLAG!

This again is epic... you can feel the power of those 4 engines as they push her through the sky. Why they never let Virgin have these I'll never know, at least then they'd still be flying and maybe even making a profit.
