Outstanding composition. I really like the natural framing provided by the environment: in this case, the leaf frond and the ground...it's uneven framing which works perfectly in terms of this composition as it gives (at least to me) a feeling of immediacy. The colors are wonderfully vivid and you've captured a great mood. All in all, I like this immensely.

A superb capture and a great composition. Very well seen.

Has a very lush, swamp-like appearance - I could imagine finding a scene like this in the Everglades. A fine composition...

What a marvellous setting! I like this very much. I hope you don't mind if I give an opposing opinion about the composition! If you cropped out the ground in the front and the tree on the left, the boat shed would land more toward the corner than dead center, which to my eye is a more pleasing situation. I find the ground to be distracting, and the palm trees that surround the boat shed frame it enough that I think the ground and the left-hand tree are almost too much of a frame in the foreground. The light color of the ground in front takes away from the lovely glow of the light on the shed. Just my opinion, for what it's worth! This is a fabulous photograph. Well done!

Reading the comment from Auntietk who suggested a different crop, which was considered. I gave it a try but decided to keep the image as originally posted because taking away the foreground left the tree on the right hand side looking like a stump with no footing. Thanks to everybody for their comments, which are always welcome.
