Description


Acrylic on masonite. This is from a famous photo of one of the training spacewalks during the earlier Apollo missions. Now, before you go and tell me that the earth in the background really sucks and messes up the rest of the image, I already know. For some reason I just was not able to paint a good planet image. Sorry.

I think the problem was where you reflected light was on the bottom of the astronauts arm is suddenly interrupted from the flag to the elbow. If that was fixed I think it definitely wouldn't suck. Also around the earth you don't show any atmosphere: If it were basicly the same color as the reflected light it would set the planet off..then you'ld have a winner.
