Description
This is a pen&ink and Photoshop image. Never quite finished, as you can easily see. This was inspired by the sci-fi story "The Flavor Of Fire", by Ramona Louise Wheeler which was published in Analog Magazine, September 1998. She originally titled the story "Video, Videamor". The creature, Folobolos, "sees" in a different spectrum/wavelength than we do and Ray's protective suit is glowing with "divine yum-yum energy" which is extremely attractive and desirable to Folobolos.
