Description

good evening to all today it came a very brief flood and afterwards i tried to wait around my sunflowers to try and catch a shot of the gold finch and i noticed this blue bird. my dad loved these things and did everything he could to attract them to his home so everytime i see one i always think of him... thanks for viewing...zoom is best...the bird was faily far away and i'm still trying to get use to this zoom lense...any criticism/suggestions/comments always welcome... have a wonderful saturday whereever you are... ***chills and thrills***

Oh, this is super! I love the presentation of this, and I think that you made great use of the zoom feature. The blurred foreground leaves give an added sense of depth to the image and serve to highlight the bird itself: a bird I've never seen before, mind you. I like this quite a lot. I like the frame as well, but I wonder how this image might look without it? I'm nosy like that! I ask because the image itself has such a wonderful sense of "non definition" if that makes sense. It's because of the blurred leaves, even though the bird and he dead tree are very well defined. I think there's an excellent sort of visual tension between the sharper/focused parts of the image and the blurry/unfocused parts; I like the sort of tension you achieved with nothing more than camera work. That's simply brilliant. I DO like the frame, but I'm just nosy enough to wanna see this without it too. Just to see if the photograph takes on a different feel.

you seem to have fine memories of your dead, treasure them they are precious. i mostly have crappy memories, but i must say he clothed and fed us and we never had to leave a place because of debt or such. only recently, since i am in the community i was able to see the 2 faces of my father if i may say so. on one hand the alcoholic beater on the other hand he took care of us.i am a bit "schizophrenic"in my views of him.but this community has been a kind of therapy for me and it still is. nice to meet you here bro.
