Description
25 Of 51-For the 1959 Car year I picket this big O000 Cadillac Custom 2dr. Hardtop for your viewing. Yes it's another land cruisr with huge fins to go with it which is probably the one main thing people remember about this ride. There's also lots of room inside this car you can actually almost stretch out in the back seat as I remember and a most comfortable smooth ride on the highway, It's just to bad gas cost so much today as this car probably only got from 8 to 12 miles to the gallon but back then gas was probably under a dollar a gallon then. Oh well, such is life. I hope you viewers like this post and thanks again for your comments and most of all "Rick68" thanks again for the render you did for me it was awesome. Have a great week ahead. Next- The 1960 car pick.

I bought a kit model of this car when it was "The" car to have! Mine was pink though! This was the dream car of the time.

I knew it had to be a 59 Caddy, It was the car for that model year. When I was a kid my neighbor had one, it was pink.

Stan, you're hittin' on all cylinders:) Key years... you have been "Spot On" and this is no exception. Love "Caddies" always will:) Now if I could just convince my wife that it is my destiny to own a "Fire Engine" red '59 riding "Fat & Low"... life would be perfect. With photo's and interests like this....there's no doubt you(Stan)have "COOL" written all over you!

in 1971 gas in Texas was 20 to 24 cents a gallon. I hit it lucky on a road trip to Monterrey.gas for the whole trip from Okla. to Monterrey was only less than $13 and still had a 1/2 tank(VW bus) beautiful example of Cadillac's opulence and excessive styling.outstanding capture
