Description

No matter how hard she tries, no matter where she goes... she is never alone. I created a similar artwork back in 2011 but I was never completely satisfied with it so I figured I would revisit it later once my skills had improved. Well, my skills have improved and I have now revived this artwork into what you now see here. I ended up changing just about everything about it except the concept/feeling/emotion/spirit of it. Part of the human shadows on her and the wall were created using Projection Studio (link below) while the stronger shadows were added in post-work. I created the human shadows/silhouettes by rendering several characters then making them black or grey silhouettes in Photoshop. Then I either overlaid them onto the finished image or grouped them together on one image and used that image as a projection gel. Doing it both ways gave a nice layered effect. The shadows aren't too distinct, they're not supposed to be.

Very deep analysis. Interesting descriptions of techniques. Intensely macabre and yet intimately internalized concept. Nicely done.

You gave a great feel of fear here. I admire the creative process that you used to give such a visceral punch to your work. Thank you for sharing the process and the results with us.
