Eliot The Hanged Man (or, in this case, woman!) reveals her meaning in the very obvious position of her body. She hangs suspended, upside down, perfectly motionless. She is not hanging for a crime, nor is her fate death. Instead, she seems to be patiently waiting for something before she returns to an upright frame of reference. This card represents a moment to pause and suspend action. We are often so busy DOING things that we rush headlong into situations where observation may have been more prudent. And, can I just say, this may be the WEIRDEST render I've ever done? Yes, she's actually upside-down in the poser scene. I first created the main pose while she was upright, including the position of her braid up to her hand. I then flipped her 180 degrees and finished posing the end of the braid down to the floor.
