Description
This is the starting area for the 6 & 8-bridge bicycle ride in Portland, Oregon.
the 10-bridge people started behind us and actually went a different route (of course, since they had two addtional bridges to cross)
Joe, my co-worker's boyfriend, and I participated in the 8-bridge pedal (24 miles)
at last count, there were over 27,000 registered riders signed up the night before. this does not include those who registered the day of this event.
All together, I rode 28 miles and I loved every minute of it. I will be doing this next year, only I'm going for the 10-bridge ride (36 miles).
I will be posting more photos of the ride and I'll be posting some videos that I took of the ride and some of the events that I saw along the way.

Great effort! They had something similar here in New York. The Ironman competition. You have to swim, bike and run in this! Great capture!
