Description
Because I always forget to say this, please zoom for details!
My computer hated me this week. Ever know how that feels? Anyway, it finally decided to be my friend and I was able to complete a couple pieces I'd been working on this week. (The other should be up shortly).
I had a number of comments about the draping of the dress on my last piece, "Ariena's Repose", which was the dress called Sombre, by Kaleya. Well, I have decided I LOVE dynamic dresses and they are so worth the bit of fiddling to get used to them. This dress is another lovely dynamic number by Kaleya called The Witches Gown. Im so glad I started using them, they're so great for a natural look, especially with potentially tricky poses.
The coffin is from Danie and Marforno (and you can move the lid around seperately, how cool is that?). I swear I use something out of one of their sets in every piece I do, they're so versatile.
All three of you are so awesome and so sweet. Thank you! :)
And as always, I have grown to love this community so much. Your comments, observations, suggestions and encouragement mean so much to me and I always come away with new ideas and inspiration. Thank you for being a part of it.

Such an intriguing scene: based on the subject matter and the pose of the male character, one wonders if he has just removed a particular beloved lady from the coffin or if he's about to put her in. Of course, since I read way too many myths, fable, and folktales from way the heck over there, I immediately thought: poor guy...the woman he's carrying has terribly unfortunate hair color, but then I remembered I'm not way the heck over there and so pale, blond hair is not an sign of something otherworldly and potentially...um...well...vampyric in a way that would make Bram Stoker look like a drunken author...oh wait, he was a drunk! Never mind. Anyway...enough about blond hair symbolism. I really like this image and the mystery it reveals: I like that sort of ambiguity because it could be any number of things, and probably not the story that it looks like. Really wonderfully done, and I have to say that the posing is great. Nicely dynamic. Nicely detailed.
