Description
I am absolutely in love with Godin's new girl Ariena. So much so, that even though I'm trying desperately to keep my fingers out of my wallet right now, I have been staring at pictures of her since before she became available, and finally I couldn't resist. I had to snag her. And even though I've stayed up way too late tonight finishing this piece, here is Ariena's debut in my artwork. Im sure you'll be seeing her popping up in many more pictures over the coming months :) Possibly even another tomorrow, ha!
And now, I'm going to bed!

What I really like about this one is the color and the light! The way those two things play and interact really makes this image! Great details. I'm curious, too...I wonder how this would look with the "camera" farther away from the subject, in as apparently empty a room? I ask that because this has such a mood to it and a somewhat surreal quality that might benefit from making the subject smaller (but not by much). That isn't necessary at all, but I like the mood you've already established here and moving back from the subject, thus shrinking the subject would really make a different, surreal mood pop! Eh, but you don't need to go in a surreal or austere direction, but at the same time you've really created a wonderful kind of tension that could be played around with. Speaking of tension: there's great tension in this image. There's the woman's posture and her expression. I love the warm colors. This is really well done.
