Description

First of all be understanding, drawing quality is not great because of reduced size and quality to be within the limits of Renderosity. Anima Mundi. It's a very difficult concept. Many people know the Gaia Hypothesis - but for those who do not know, I briefly summarize from Wikipedia: The Gaia hypothesis, also known as Gaia theory or Gaia principle, proposes that all organisms and their inorganic surroundings on Earth are closely integrated to form a single and self-regulating complex system, maintaining the conditions for life on the planet. This is a modern theory, also considered by some a little risky. In many ancient peoples and civilizations, another idea was considered: the Anima Mundi. Again a litte resume from Wikipedia: The world soul (in Latin Anima mundi) is, according to several systems of thought, an intrinsic connection between all living things on the planet, which relates to our world in much the same way as the soul is connected to the human body. The idea originated with Plato and was an important component of most Neoplatonic systems. It is immediately obvious the similarity between the two concepts. Although the definition is the original Greek civilization, its actual origins are older than history. Although with minor variations, this idea has been present throughout history, civilizations and people, at least until the expansion of the monotheistic religions. These, however, did not deny the idea itself, rather it has been subject to the divinity. Even today many important religious and theologians, as well as scientists, rediscover and reaffirm this idea in its entirety. Thousands of years to become aware of something that the ancient peoples knew already. But despite this, we all see what we are doing wrong and evil to the Earth, to people, to life ... to the soul of the world. Some even consider the human race as a disease of the world and fear the consequences of this. Maybe it's an extreme idea, maybe not. If there is a soul in the world, it certainly suffer. It took a lot of patience. But I think the man has always been too evil to deserve the patience in the world. Today, our ever-present cruelty, though masked by the complexity of a modern civilization, we add the abuse of every available resource. And we are all guilty, all of us. So, how much patience will yet the world? Today, we all know, is a difficult time. But still there are people, many people, who continue to abuse everything and everyone. How long can we tolerate? How much more our world, our home, can tolerate? I'm not interested in stories and theories about the End of the World, 2012, and other such things. The world is alive, it grows, it changes, it has its good times and difficult ones. But we have gone beyond the laws of nature. Any time, we can pass the no return point. We can disappear in a short time, the world will go on, though. It has a future, we may not. In my picture there are men who prays, they ask for forgiveness and help, but really we believe that this is enough? Each of us, honestly, knows or should know the answer. Maybe it's time to follow the heart, to use the reason, not the cruelty and abuse. It is time to think about, it is time to build our future not to destroy it.

That's an interesting idea well worth thinking about, especially since we have to live hear and suffer the consequences of our actions. Interesting imagery you used to illustrate the concept!

Hi Mondwin! WOW I am now fulfilled with you...I never thought I would ever see or read or experience someone who tends to reside on the same wavelength as myself. A very poetic and divine work you've shared with us. I took a grand look at your gallery and am so very impressed with your creations. I am kind of new to this site, but nowhere near being new to the art world...I've been around art, literature, beauty and have seen, heard and even witnessed alot of the good in the world, but when I have been exposed to the bad side of what thine eyes wished they had never seen what they have, it kind of kills a piece of my soul. Man as a whole is such a virus on this planet, which is so hard for people such as us, because we are that one percent of one percent that doesn't have evil within, and when confronted and attempted to corrupt us, we know how to squash it like a grape...but there is so much of it, that it weakens us beyond the point of our inception and how much more will we be able to handle...and all of this coming from a realist with an imagination that time travels to every corner of the universal energy source to pluck and receive as much strength as I can just to continue so I can do what I do and let the world know what it has done to me, as I see it has done to you also. I knew it when I first laid my eyes on just one of your works, let alone all of them. A master you are...keep it up for as long as you can, and I will do the same. Thank you for your wonderful comments on my works, for I truly appreciate it! Have a great holiday season!

Awesome concept and artwork. We live in a world made out of opposites, day and night, hot and cold, beautiful and ugly, love and hate, war and peace, young and old, tall an short, etc,etc...I can go on and on. We can not change the world but we can change ourselves and when we change ourselves, we made a change in the world. It is the only way in my humble opinion.
